Finally a word with Stephen Carey our Under 20’s head coach

Q Steven, tell us about the decision to appoint joint captains for the coming season?

Both have been excellent in Pre- season and in the North Munster Leagues games V Garryowen and UL Bohs. They drive standards and they help the new lads in the group getting to know our style of rugby. Also, they work very well together so it was an easy decision.

Q tell us about the plans for the squad for the season ahead

We’ll take it one game at a time. Develop a good team atmosphere and to develop players individually. We want to play an exciting and enjoyable brand of rugby. If the attitude is right and we are enjoying rugby, performances and results will come.
