What an evening!

With over 300 in attendance in the Radisson Blu Limerick, Bernard Jackman expertly MC'd the corporate fundraiser with a host of special guests.

Mark Connolly, Chairman of Rugby opened the evening with some recognition of some well deserving Cookies, presentations by John "Paco" Fitzgerald, Club President and Ger Slattery, head coach:

- Conor Bartley

- Jake O Riordan

- Luke Murphy

- Christian Foley

- Eoghan Cross

Bernard spoke with Clayton Mc Millian, head coach of Munster Rugby ahead of the Champions Cup fixture in Cork - the room erupted into applause for our own Conor Bartley, who Clayton confirmed would be on the bench for the clash to Gloucester. joined on stage was Scott Lawerence, head of coach of the USA Eagles, Scott talked us through rugby as an emerging sport in the states, the MLR and the US' qualification route to the World Cup.

After a superb meal, Bernard introduced the hosts of the popular Rugby Pod podcast, English International Andy Goode & legendary Scottish International Jim Hamilton.

The lads regaled tales, interactions with our own "ginger ninja" Paul O Connell & plenty of banter - great to hear the lads speak of meaning of club rugby and traditions associated.

Big thank you to all who purchased tickets for the raffle on the night and to our wonderful sellers, senior players - Oisin, Jake, Oran & Fintan!

Stay tuned for the offical pictures - thank you to Kieran Benson Ryan for attending and snapping!

An evening like this could not happen without a shed load of work - huge kudos to Mark Connolly, Mick Moore & Paudie Mc Mahon for their efforts - lads it was exceptional.
