Under Age Weekly Update March 4th 2016

Good afternoon all,

Its getting to that stage of the season where most matches take on added significance with valuable league points at stake and some teams already advanced to knock-out stages of their competitions.

Our Under 18’s have home advantage against Tralee in the BOI Pan Munster semi final on Sunday. Our 14’s have already secured s home semi final in their league and will be looking to continue their momentum when they host Richmond. The Under 13’s are also flying, and have a tough match on Friday at Derryknockane. Best of luck to our Under 11 and 12’s who will compete in the prestigious “Willow Park Festival” on Saturday. Also good luck to our Under 8 and 10 squads who will be in Blitz action on Sunday.

Under 18 BOI Pan Munster – Young Munster vs Bantry – Won 37-17

Under 14 League – Ennis vs Young Munster at Lees Road . Wom 3-0

Under 13 League – Young Munster vs Ennis at Derryknockane Postponed.

Under 9 Blitz at East Clare Eagles – won 4, drew one & lost one.

Under 11 Blitz at Copsewood. – won all matches

We are asking Coaches/Managers to collect latest edition of our Newsletter from our shop on Sunday morning from 9.30 and to please distribute to your players.

We are holding a “closed” raffle for three great prizes, each line is only €2.00 and cards with 20 lines l be available for collection for each team along with Newsletters this Sunday. All proceeds going to the Under-Age section of the club.

First Aid Kit at Derryknockane

Attention all Coaches/Managers; we now have a basic medical bag and neck braces in various sizes located in First Aid box which is in the kitchen at Derryknockane.
