Under Age Weekly Update March 25th 2016

Good afternoon all,

Well done to our Under 13 and 14’s who qualified for the final of their respective leagues last week-end. Our 14’s were well in control against Old Crescent and ran out convincing winners. What a performance by our Under 13’s! - in spite of being at a numerical disadvantage to Garryowen, they produced a huge performance to defeat the Light Blues in a real “nail biter” at Derryknockane. Unfortunately, our Under 15’s gave a great performance before eventually losing out to Old Crescent in their semi final.

A very quiet week-end on the competitive front, with only our Under 18’s involved in a Friendly against Newcastlewest.

Results from last weekend:

Under 14 League Semi Final – Young Munster vs Old Crescent at Derryknockane Won 24-0

Under 13 League Semi Final – Young Munster vs Garryowen – Derryknockane - Won 10-5

Under 15 League Semi Final – Old Crescent vs Young Munster – Rosbrien - Lost 17-25.

Under 16 Friendly – Garryowen vs Young Munster – Dooradoyle – Lost 8-13

Under 11 Blitz at Bruff – Won 5, drew 1.
