We maintained our push for the play-offs and promotion with an impressive second half display at Eaton Park last Saturday.

Ballymena took the lead in the sixth minute thanks to a penalty from scrum half David O Hara, Alan Kingsley replied with one of his own before forward pressure yielded a converted try on 20 minutes for the home side. Just before half time team captain Ger Slattery emerged from under a pile of bodies as the try was awarded and a further penalty from Kingsley had Young Munster in front 11 pts to 10 pts at the break.
Kingsley was again successful with a penalty just on the restart and he managed to charge down a kick from his opposite number Luke Marshall and race through for a try soon after with Kingsley missing the conversion.
Gareth Fisher reduced the gap to 19 pts to 13pts but a fourth successful penalty from Kingsley and another try for the visitors from James O Neill capped off Munsters eight successive Division 1B win.
